Will “Wolfman” is a pencil portrait artist and illustrator in Hillsboro (Coffee County), Tennessee near Manchester. He has drawn nearly all his life, and while in high school, took the Art Instuction Schools correspondence course “Fundamentals of Commercial Art”. His first illustration job was for Chapter 32 of “Johnston’s Modern Practice in Fixed Prosthodontics by Drs. Dykema, Goodacre, and Phillips (4th Edition 1985. W. B. Saunders Company, Philadelphia), a dental textbook.
His strength lie in portraiture, and he has done work for several people within the Bluegrass/Country Music industry including John “Curly” Seckler (formerly of Lester Flatt’s “Nashville Grass”). He also sets up as the “Dixie Sketch Artist” at Civil War Reenactments for his caricature work, and this has proven to be very popular.
