Live Digital Caricatures

Rob is originally from Toronto where he graduated from CW Jefferys Vocational Arts Secondary School, majoring in Design, Illustration and Theatrical Arts. After completing grade 12, Rob went on to study illustration and cartooning at Sheridan College of Applied Arts & Technology in Oakville, Ontario. On weekends, he would return to Toronto where he and his one time classmates would perform in a professional improvisational theatre group called Berford Seaman’s Flabby Thighs & Butter. The theatre group performed together for about five years in dinner theatres and comedy clubs in the greater Toronto area, including an infant Yuk Yuk’s comedy club. During this five year span, Rob & some fellow students from Sheridan College produced two internationally distributed underground comic books also entitled Berford Seaman’s Flabby Thighs and Butter which are now collector’s items and can be found in various comic guides. In the summer, Rob did caricatures on Toronto’s trendy Yorkville Avenue. In the winter months, he would draw caricatures in flea markets and in Toronto’s many rock bars on Yonge Street. Today Rob lives in Vancouver, BC where he draws live digital caricature at weddings, parties & various corporate functions.
