Live Party/Event Caricatures
After teaching elementary school for four years, Lee began adventuring, a process that included stints as a storekeeper in a Canadian Indian village, as a deck hand on Alaskan fishing boats; as a newspaper reporter in Wisconsin; and as a t-shirt artist and grave digger in Indiana. Since 1995, Lee has been deeply involved in freelance writing and illustrating. For two years in a rowâ — 1999 and 2000 — he was named top weekly newspaper political cartoonist in Indiana. Along with caricaturing, he draws illustrations, gives school programs and writes book-length histories.
