Bat was born in Augusta, GA and raised in the mountains of North Carolina. A non-self taught artist, he has taken knowledge from numerous sources and wants to continue his education by doing what the masters did and work together with other artist as he has done in the past to avoid getting stuck in a rut of “one way of doing things” mindset.
