Live Party/Event Caricatures
As an alternative to the cartoony fun of caricatures, I provide a Fine Art option of a watercolor portrait depicting a true likeness of the person. I have worked as a professional portrait artist for several years and pride myself on my ability to capture a pure likeness of the sitter in a matter of minutes.
When a person sits with me to be painted, I ask them to choose one color and this is the color that I paint them in. This way folks have a say in their portrait and they have been part of its creation.
I paint my watercolors on archival paper and many people have taken them home to frame and hang on their walls. A few have actually been moved to tears. 🙂
